A global financial services leader in London is looking for a Lead Software Engineer, UI Developer to work within the Global Technology division. You will design and deliver market-leading technology products responsible for secondary quoting and trading. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience, strong skills in React and Java, and a solid understanding of agile methodologies. Qualifications

• Minimum six years experience in a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in software engineering concepts.
• Exposure to NoSQL systems and messaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead delivery of greenfield initiative to migrate WPF UI to React.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure platform meets business requirements.
• Contribute to re-engineering and architecting existing platform.

Skills

Formal training or certification on React and Java concepts

Hands-on experience in system design and application development

Experience in developing and debugging code in modern programming languages

Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Familiarity with Microservices architecture concepts and AWS

Experience with dockerized applications

Solid understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD

Ability to tackle design problems independently
