Job Overview

As a Interventional Radiographer, you'll help deliver a safe, efficient, and patient-focused imaging service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery & Collaboration
    • Work closely with IR Lead and Principal Operations Radiographers to maintain a high-quality service with a strong focus on patient care.
    • Participate in a wide range of specialised examinations to a high standard using relevant practical expertise.
    • Undertake a senior role when working within IR and the general dept. This includes both clinical and non-clinical work associated with service delivery.
    • Ability to participate in out of hours working and 24hr cross site emergency cover for intervention.
  • Quality & Standards
    • Set and maintain professional standards in the Radiology Department and contribute to audits and service improvements with colleagues.
  • Staff Support & Development
    • Supervise and support staff, students, and visitors.
    • Provide teaching and assessment in line with BCUHB policies and HCPC standards.
  • Cross-Departmental Relationships
    • Build strong working relationships across departments and help resolve local operational issues.

Language Requirements

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
