Overview

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious and motivated Rotational Senior Radiographer (Band 6) for Core Services Plain X-ray, CT and possible rotation to MRI. This position will be based at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in the heart of the City of London – St. Paul’s.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality, effective imaging services across a wide range of services supported by Imaging, including General and A&E X-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres and CT.
  • Work closely with Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades to provide safe, prompt and effective imaging of patients.
  • Potentially rotate to MRI as required.
  • Work in collaboration with Clinical, Radiographic and managerial teams to ensure service delivery.
  • Demonstrate leadership and clinical supervision skills as part of the role.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Good general radiographic experience; resilient, flexible and able to demonstrate leadership and supervision capabilities.
  • Ability to work within a 24/7 service environment.
Working Environment and Service Context

The post holder will work with Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades to provide safe, prompt and effective imaging for patients, including those who may be unconscious, uncooperative or have disabilities. The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
