Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as Physics or Engineering.
  • Demonstrable knowledge or experience in radiation physics.
  • Familiarity with radiological safety assessments and ALARP justifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct radiological safety assessments.
  • Assess radiation damage risk to electronics.
  • Develop and deploy radiation detection systems.
  • Complete systems engineering design for secondary shielding.
  • Run and analyze calculations for safety assessments.
  • Provide technical advice on changes and defects.
