Resina Partners is supporting a leading manufacturer of sports flooring systems, a global player renowned for rubber‑based flooring systems for sports and commercial applications, headquartered in Italy with an extensive international footprint.

Role

The position is an experienced R&D Specialist in the Adhesives division, focusing on formulation, optimization and testing of PU and epoxy adhesives, development of equivalent raw materials and applied investigations to resolve field issues such as whitening, poor adhesion and climatic resistance.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and improve PU and epoxy adhesives.
• Select, qualify and homologate raw materials and equivalents.
• Investigate and resolve application or field performance issues.
• Support targeted QC testing and material characterization.
• Track technological trends, fairs and competitor developments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in adhesive formulation, ideally PU and/or epoxy systems.
• Strong laboratory autonomy and applied problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in Italian and good English (supplier network is international).
• Collaborative yet confident working alongside senior technical experts.
• Willingness to relocate to Alba (Piedmont) and work mainly on‑site.
