A leading groundworks contractor in the UK is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Warrington. The role involves holding commercial responsibility for a portfolio of housing groundworks projects, managing the entire commercial lifecycle from tendering to final accounts. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years QS experience, ideally in groundworks or residential infrastructure. This position offers a salary of up to £65,000 plus a negotiable package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years QS experience, ideally with exposure to groundworks or residential infrastructure packages.
• Good working knowledge of construction contract forms (JCT, NEC or equivalent).
• Proactive and able to manage multiple live projects.

Responsibilities

• Hold commercial responsibility for a portfolio of live housing groundworks projects.
• Manage the full commercial lifecycle: tendering, procurement, cost control, interim valuations.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure clear scope and contract terms.
