Overview

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £55,000–£70,000+benefits

We’re looking for a talented Senior Surveyor (MRICS) to join a dynamic and growing Building Consultancy team in London. With a strong pipeline of projects across hospitality, commercial, residential, and public realm sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to take a key role in project delivery while contributing to the future growth of the team.

The Role
  • Take ownership of projects, delivering full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
  • Act as a key client-facing representative, ensuring exceptional service and outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical and professional development.
  • Lead on cost planning, tendering, procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Work with a small, collaborative QS team (currently four members, including the Director).
  • Support business development, with training and guidance available to strengthen these skills.
  • Opportunity to bring existing clients or resources, which will be recognised and valued.
About You
  • MRICS qualified (minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years post-chartership).
  • Solid experience across both pre- and post-contract services.
  • Strong client-facing background with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident managing projects independently and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Business development experience is desirable but not essential.
