Salary: £55,000–£70,000+benefits
We’re looking for a talented Senior Surveyor (MRICS) to join a dynamic and growing Building Consultancy team in London. With a strong pipeline of projects across hospitality, commercial, residential, and public realm sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to take a key role in project delivery while contributing to the future growth of the team.
The Role
- Take ownership of projects, delivering full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
- Act as a key client-facing representative, ensuring exceptional service and outcomes.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical and professional development.
- Lead on cost planning, tendering, procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Work with a small, collaborative QS team (currently four members, including the Director).
- Support business development, with training and guidance available to strengthen these skills.
- Opportunity to bring existing clients or resources, which will be recognised and valued.
About You
- MRICS qualified (minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years post-chartership).
- Solid experience across both pre- and post-contract services.
- Strong client-facing background with excellent communication skills.
- Confident managing projects independently and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Commercially aware with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
- Business development experience is desirable but not essential.
