Overview

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a fantastic developer based in Kent. The developer undertakes Volume house building with projects 400+ units per phase and you would be an addition to a growing team and be responsible for managing the commercial element of the development, managing costs on site and liaising with site teams.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, manage and update project budgets
  • Monitor build costs against budget and forecast final costs
  • Identify cost risks and opportunities early
  • Prepare tender documents and specifications
  • Obtain, review and negotiate subcontractor quotations
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with contract terms
  • Assess completed works on site
  • Risk management - ensure compliance with company procedures and legal standards
  • Prepare and agree final accounts with subcontractors
Requirements

The ideal candidate will live within 30 miles of the head office in Kent. COINS experience is essential.
