Qualifications

  • Proven experience as the SQS with a Regional / National contractor.

  • Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to final account agreement.
  • Involved with final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.

Responsibilities
  • Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
  • Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
  • Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
  • Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
Requirements
  • HNC / HND in Surveying or equivalent
  • Proven experience as the SQS with a Regional / National contractor
  • A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
  • A good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Strong mathematical and IT ability
  • Negotiating and networking skills
  • Excellent communications skills
