A leading food manufacturing company in Greater Lincolnshire is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to drive site-wide technical standards. You will lead the Quality team, manage all technical and quality requirements, and ensure compliance with BRC standards. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in quality leadership, particularly in food production, and will be responsible for maintaining audit readiness and leading continuous improvement efforts.
We're partnered with a leading business within the food manufacturing industry that is expanding it's team and now seeking a Senior Quality Manager to play a pivotal role in driving site-wide technical standards.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team and act as deputy in their absence. You'll be responsible for leading the Quality team, managing all technical and quality requirements across the site, and ensuring the business remains fully audit ready.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring high standards and consistent performance.
-Manage the internal audit system and Quality Management System (QMS).
-Take the lead on customer and BRC audits, ensuring compliance at all times.
-Support the Technical Manager in delivering technical requirements and projects.
-Drive continuous improvement across site technical standards.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams as part of the site management group.
-Maintain strong working relationships with key retail customers.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a Quality or Technical leadership role.
-Strong knowledge of BRC standards and HACCP systems.
-Previous experience working with major UK retailers is essential.
-Demonstrable ability to lead, manage, and develop a team.
-Strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills.
-A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to step up in the absence of the Technical Manager.
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000
