Overview

Major loss adjusting practice seeks to expand its Property Division through the appointment of two additional adjusters in the North, across the Pennines and into the North East. The positions are home-based and you will handle domestic and commercial losses up to £100,000 in value. You will be given autonomy to handle those losses as you see fit supported by an excellent desk-based team. Your caseload will be no more than 60-70 losses thus enabling you to handle your portfolio in a thoroughly professional manner in a relatively pressure-free environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage domestic and commercial property losses up to £100,000 in value.
  • Operate from a home-based setting with autonomy and support from a desk-based team.
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 60–70 losses to ensure professional delivery in a low-pressure environment.
  • Work across the North region (North, across the Pennines and into the North East).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a general property adjusting role (domestic or commercial) with ability to handle a mixed caseload.
  • Experience is more important than formal qualifications; progress with CII/CILA preferred and may be rewarded via salary.
  • Willingness to travel within the North as positions are home-based.
