Senior Project Manager - Rail

As a Senior Project Manager at Telent, you will be trusted and empowered to deliver critical and complex work. You'll be free to innovate, to take ownership and make smart, agile decisions. You'll be responsible for managing our customer relationships as well as the overall management and coordination of upcoming projects. This is a hybrid role with a base location of Warwick 1-2 days a week and some travel when required to customer sites.

What You'll Do:

• Developing the overall project delivery and reporting processes to ensure delivery of assigned project/s meet relevant standards and timeframes.
• Acting as the customer interface for Telent on any allocated project.
• The financial performance and reporting of all projects to both Telent and Customer stakeholders
• Providing detailed and regular project reviews, reports and KPI's for both telent and client review.
• The contractual Quality and Health & Safety for all projects
• Providing leadership and direction for the Project team
• Planning and ensuring the correct resource is booked and available to deliver the project (internal and external).
• Subcontract selection and management.
• Ensuring material orders are placed on time and within the agreed budget
• Undertaking regular Site Safety Inspections on project portfolio to promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
• Supporting the bid team as required for tenders and responses.

Who you are:

You will have previous experience in a similar role ideally within the rail or rail systems sector

Key requirements:

• Previous Senior Project Management experience of projects of min 10m
• Team Management with direct reports and experience of Mentoring
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
• Excellent knowledge of P & L accounts
• Good working knowledge of MSP and Microsoft suite of tools
• Ability to communicate at senior level with critical and time constrained delivery timescales.
