Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Hertfordshire

Type: Perm

With a turnover of over £200 million, one of UK’s leading Fit-out/Refurbishment Contractors is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Project Director to join their growing team. This Main Contractor is looking for a No.1 Senior Project Manager who can lead the team and deliver the project to the client's requirements and expectations on a 2 Stage tender basis on projects ranging between £70-£150 million. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience within Fit out/ Cut & Carve Refurbishment on a fast track basis.

Responsibilities

• Pre construction
• Programming responsibility from contract programme onwards: design and build
• Site set up and strategy including logistics
• Planning
• Running the job as a number 1
• Daily site management and Progress reporting weekly
• Check contractors RAMS for approval, Tickets records and allocate inductions
• Costing, Budgeting
• Check and Approve Benchmarks from contractors
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish
• Client liaison
• Reporting into the Contracts Manager
• Aftercare
• Finish with attention to budgets

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate must have previous experience running his own Projects within fast track fit out, Cut & Carve/Refurbishment
• Must be ambitious, dynamic and client facing
• Must be able to travel to and from site
• CSCS
• SMSTS/SSSTS
• First Aid Site certifications
