A leading health organisation in Wales is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager. This role involves leading high-priority projects, managing diverse teams, and driving organisational improvements. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a degree-level qualification, with project management qualification considered a plus. The position is integral to the Project Management Office, supporting various projects within CTM University Health Board.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to lead and support on high priority projects across CTMUHB which will underpin the organisations strategic objectives. You will be an effective manager who can develop and deliver projects and lead diverse teams to jointly drive forward organisational Improvement and efficiency agendas.
You will have excellent communication and engagement skills necessary to influence at all levels within the organisation you will have the skills and tenacity to overcome barriers and meet the expectations of the organisation.
The Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure that assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and to facilitate full realisation of benefits defined in the Business Case through the application of project management methodology and techniques.
The role sits within a Project Management Office and will provide support to the CH/PMO work programme. In addition the post holder will be required to support the named service lead for specific projects assigned to them and to line manage the Band 5 Assistant Project Manager.
