JOB Senior Project Manager

LOCATION Liverpool (hybrid working is available)

TERM- Permanent

SALARY(dependent on experience)

My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke products primarily working within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis.

The Senior Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• 5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level
• needs to have experience with Capex projects
• Ideally be experienced working with a small team to implement new Project Management processes
• Experience delivering turnkey projects
• Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualifications
• An educational or hands-on background in Engineering
• A background in the Medical sector would also be beneficial
• Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
• Be able to read engineering drawings
• Strong client-facing experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
• Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• Be flexible to travel as required

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
• Organising projects implementing a new Project Management process and motivating the existing team to work to new structures and procedures
• Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
• Producing detailed works schedules resource and projects plans
• Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress
• Working with design purchasing and production departments
• Presenting project plans and reports to management
• Reporting progress managing risks and responding to issues
• Maintaining technical documentation as required
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Occasional travel as required
