A leading insurance firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic projects within the Finance Portfolio. This role involves managing complex change initiatives, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in project delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets. As Senior Project Manager in Central Functions, you'll work collaboratively with other change professionals to realise business benefits through delivery of strategic projects in our portfolio, covering Finance, Legal, Risk etc. This role will initially be focused on supporting a major Transformation Programme within the Finance Portfolio; SimpliFi UK.
In this role you will work within a team of change experts as a trusted partner, driving our business towards achieving our strategic objectives. You will lead the project team, role‑model our values, while partnering with your sponsors, Tribe leads and senior stakeholders.
The SimpliFi UK Programme is structured around delivering two workstreams, Accounting Harmonisation (moving accounting processes to SAPR3) and Data / Reporting (focused on using ADP). This role will lead delivery in one of the key components within these workstreams; here you will work closely with several SMEs across Finance, Data, IT and Architecture. This role will also require collaboration with colleagues across the programme in the UK.
You'll have an agile mind‑set and ensure delivery is value and outcome based and aligned to the programme vision. You'll be passionate about change and want to make a difference.
Pay: Circa £70,000 (pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location; salary is only one part of our total reward package).
