The project

As the private business unit continues to expand, we are searching for an inspirational Senior Project Manager to support our growth strategy. We look for an individual with experience across the following sectors: Corporate Real Estate and Mixed-Use Development.

This role will provide end-to-end project management across the project lifecycle to meet defined time, cost, technical performance and quality requirements.

It is a client-facing role, responsible for collaborating with project team members and stakeholders. You will be highly motivated, understand how to develop a project plan, identify any specialist requirements, and mobilise a professional team to drive forward the client’s strategy. You will manage necessary project governance and assurance tools to fulfil our obligations, lead the appointed professional team, and remain accountable for all aspects of delivery as a lead consultant, building strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and supply chain members.

  • Manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
  • Manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the associate director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the project.

You’ll need to have
  • NEC4 ECC PM accreditation.
  • Membership of APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Highways sector.
  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
