A telecom consultancy in the UK is seeking a Technical Project Manager with expertise in delivering Private Wireless projects, particularly in 5G for industrial sectors. This is a 6-month contract, expected to extend to 12 months.

Overview

Technical Project Manager - Wireless 5G Certain Advantage are hiring on behalf of our global telecoms client for a Technical PM who can offer demonstrable expertise in delivering "Private Wireless" projects for corporate customers, ideally 5G private wireless within in the industrial sector (e.g. manufacturing, logistics & distribution etc). This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global telecoms business with a healthy pipeline of wireless projects coming into their international network delivery team. Initially 6 months this contract is expected to run for 12 months, potentially longer.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, implement, and maintain Private 5G Delivery program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
• Maintain organizational standards within our Private 5G Delivery methodology of satisfaction, quality, and performance
• Oversee multiple Private 5G Delivery projects, ensuring program goals are reached
• Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

Candidate skills / Experience

• Advanced knowledge of Private Wireless Networks deployment processes and the impact thereof on the technical environment.
• Project management certifications including PMP, ITIL, Prince2, MSP, etc.
• Experience in technical wireless deployment management, preferably in Private 5G or complex cellular enterprise deployments.
• Experience in project planning and providing leadership.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ideally Professional Services project delivery leadership.
• Proven success with complex Private 5G deployments.
• Proven ability to engage clients and manage relationships at the C-Level.
• Leadership ability with excellent communications and team building skills across multiple work locations.
