This role will sit within our Strategic Change team who are in the driving seat for leading operational, organisational, and strategic projects to support our Transformation agenda.

This role will:

  • Lead the delivery of a complex strategic, organisational and operational projects
  • Working closely with the ExCo and Business Leads to scope, plan and deliver projects
  • Must have strong core project managements skills, be comfortable leading projects and key workstreams and driving the E2E plan
  • Require ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and have a passion for innovation
Role overview:
  • Lead the delivery of strategic, organisational and operational projects
  • To operate at a mid-Senior level, with a need for limited supervision as the role should set its own agenda and priorities within clear guidelines and framework
  • Lead the scoping of projects including business case definition, resourcing etc
  • Lead all aspects of projects from concept and design though to delivery, supported by the necessary Functional teams
  • Own key deliverables (such as the plan and budget) across the project lifecycle and apply appropriate methodologies to support the achievement of wider project aims and objectives
  • Establish and sustain an effective governance framework to ensure the appropriate level of oversight and control is in place across the project
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders to design, plan and implement the required changes for their function
  • Own project reporting, management of risks and issues, and management of dependencies, linking to the business wide change plan
  • Proactively manage and collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders within the business to ensure shared ownership for the delivery of project outcomes
  • Drive complex change into the organisation through the application of ‘best in class’ project management
  • Manage project stakeholder relationships and engage the business more broadly with project communications
  • Works cross functionally to successfully deliver required outcomes
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and be able to deal with ambiguity
  • A passion for innovation and change is a must

  • Retail industry experience preferred
  • Big 4 Consulting Experience is preferred
