Job description

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Bradford-based team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office twice a week.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery ofdigital transformation projects and B2B product solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams and our customers. From discovery and deployment to continuous integration, delivery, and ongoing support, you’ll play a key part in driving our strategic growth and operational excellence—leveraging cutting-edge technologies, automation, and AI.

As an expert in software delivery, you’ll be responsible for enabling and optimising performance across internal and external delivery teams, ensuring high standards of quality and value. You’ll also manage stakeholders at all levels, mitigate risks, control costs, and provide clear, strategic recommendations to navigate complex challenges and deliver outstanding results.

What will you be doing?

  • Drive agile delivery of digital projects, managing scope, budget, and timelines across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with customers, product managers, designers, tech experts, and suppliers to deliver innovative, user-focused solutions.
  • Partner with senior leaders and process owners to remove blockers, manage risks, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation including delivery plans, user stories, and action logs.
  • Align teams on priorities, expectations, and timelines, tracking progress to successful outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with third-party providers to enhance project success.
  • Support and mentor team members, driving alignment with strategic goals.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends and agile best practices.

Essential

  • Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
  • Proven track record delivering complex software projects using agile methodologies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver B2B solutions, including custom builds and low/no-code platforms; exposure to AI implementations is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com, or similar tools.
  • Confident working with data for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.

Desirable :

  • Experience driving process improvements and resource optimisation.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and familiarity with tools like Miro, Figma, or Visio.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resilient, organised, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
  • Background in multi-entity or high-volume operations, ideally within finance or back-office functions.
