We have a new and exciting opportunity to our new Wholesale Fixed Division as a Senior Product Manager!

We’re seeking a strategic and commercially driven Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, development, and delivery of our UK High Capacity Servers (HCS) and Dark Fibre connectivity product portfolios. This pivotal role demands an individual with a deep understanding of the UK connectivity landscape particularly Optical, Dark Fibre and HCS, combined with the ability to anticipate market shifts, outpace competitors, and craft a product strategy that drives long-term commercial success!

As part of this role, the key focus is on defining and implementing the product vision and strategy for our Optical and improvement portfolio. You’ll ensure it aligns with evolving partner needs and overarching business goals. Your strategic insight will guide the development of compelling market propositions by translating partner and market requirements into actionable product plans, covering everything from feature specifications and pricing strategies to go-to-market execution and product launches.

The successful candidate will lead the full lifecycle of existing products and services, ensuring they evolve in line with industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and Virgin Media O2 Fixed Wholesale strategy. There will be plenty of opportunities to define clear migration paths from legacy to next-gen products, unlocking upsell opportunities and maximising customer value.

Qualifications

The must haves

  • Extensive product management experience within the Telecommunications industry with a focus on optical products, namely High Capacity Servers (HCS) and Dark Fibre.
  • Define and own the Product Vision and Product Roadmap for Wholesale Optical and Value Services.
  • Experience in building optical products driving differentiated partner value.
  • Experience in building cases with quantified benefits and the ability to provide a well-articulated view of the opportunities and risks.
  • Background in telco products e.g. Connectivity and Optical as well as a good understanding of key market trends and emerging new technologies in the area.
  • Sound familiarity with the regulatory framework within the UK related to connectivity services and its direct effects on our product strategy and roadmap.
