Qualifications

  • Strong product management experience in telecoms, broadband or consumer tech.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Background in launching consumer hardware products.
  • Familiarity with telecoms regulation and compliance is a plus.
  • Experience with FTTP and all‑IP networks is highly desirable.

Job description
Location : London/Manchester
Role Purpose

This role leads the strategy and delivery of TalkTalk’s in-home connectivity products — including routers, mesh Wi‑Fi, boosters and related services. You’ll shape the roadmap, manage supplier relationships, and work across teams to deliver products that are simple, smart and loved by customers.

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about creating great in‑home connectivity experiences — someone who understands what customers really need and is excited to build products that make a difference.

Main Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for CPE and WiFi, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Lead product development and lifecycle management — from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Tech, CX, Commercial, Ops) and external partners to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with CPE suppliers and building a broad understanding of the technical platforms underpinning the delivery of a quality customer experience.
  • Use data and customer insight to drive continuous improvement in product performance and experience.
  • Lifecycle Management of all in‑life products including policies for replacement and retirement of devices, involvement in firmware upgrade campaigns, and testing of new devices.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform product positioning and innovation.
  • Represent the product area in senior forums and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements related to CPE and connectivity.
