Senior / Principal Landscape Planner

£35-55k DOE

A large multidisciplinary consultancy are seeking a Senior Landscape Planner to join their UK landscape practice. With a particular focus on the energy and water sectors, you will be leading multi-disciplinary team, managing projects and fee budgets

Requirements

In addition to good report writing skills, and an interest in planning and assessment as part of an integrated design process, we’re looking for the following qualifications, attributes and skills :

  • A degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline and CMLI accreditation with good knowledge of professional ethics and ethical framework.
  • Demonstrable professional experience of landscape architecture with a very good understanding of the UK planning system and how our work relates to it.
  • Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS / Pro, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Preferably some specific energy or water sector experience.
  • The ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and project manage.

You will have a background in delivering project work on time and within budget and be comfortable representing the landscape discipline internally within a project team and externally to a range of stakeholders and clients. You will have a good grounding in most aspects of the landscape profession and will play a role in business development, client relationship building and bid preparation.
