Job summary

A leading healthcare trust in Bristol is seeking an experienced physiotherapist for a full-time fixed-term role. The position involves managing patients with rheumatological and musculoskeletal conditions in outpatient and ward settings. Candidates should have a degree in physiotherapy, HCPC registration, and MSK experience. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and mentoring staff. The role offers a salary range of £38,682 to £46,580 per annum based on experience.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate MSK outpatient experience and experience of mentoring.
• Experience supervising staff, students and participation in service development/audit (desirable).
• Ability to perform clinical examinations and develop individualised treatment programmes for complex patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with long-term conditions in rheumatology.
• Assess newly diagnosed rheumatology patients and run education groups.
• Assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions referred from GP and A&E.

Skills

Confident use of IT systems

Knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions

Knowledge of rheumatology and chronic pain conditions

Education

Degree or Diploma in physiotherapy

HCPC registration and evidence of regular CPD
