A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to manage core pharmacy operations and provide mentorship to staff. This full-time position requires prior hospital pharmacy experience and registration with GPhC. The role includes excellent benefits such as private health insurance and flexible holiday options.
We're looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Services team at The Harley Street Clinic currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.
Based in London's medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. Our pharmacy team delivers an exceptional patient‑centred service across our world‑renown campus that houses several centres of excellence from Complex Oncology to Cardiac to Diagnostics.
Location: The Harley Street Clinic, Central London
Hours: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week Monday‑Friday with contribution to weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rota basis
Contract Type: Permanent

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician for Patient Services, you will be responsible for working across all aspects of the core pharmacy operations, which includes dispensary, stock control, inventory management, medicines distribution and Automated Dispensing cabinets (Omnicell). You will be involved in the continuous service and professional development, audit and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also be a key stakeholder for relevant Quality Improvement Project(s) (QIPs). You will be integral in providing training, education and mentorship to Pharmacy Technicians, Assistants and Pre‑registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians (PTPTs).
