A healthcare provider is seeking a motivated individual for a permanent position in pharmacy services at HMP Elmley. Responsibilities include dispensing medication, managing procurement, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting and hold an NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Services certification. Full-time role with a salary ranging from £26,937 to £28,598 per year.
The post-holder will ensure, under the guidance of the pharmacy technician, the smooth and efficient running of the pharmacy procurement and supplies functions for the pharmacy within Elmley prison with regard to routine ordering, receipt of goods, computer input, appropriate storage of medicines, environmental monitoring, and recycling and disposal of medicines in line with GDP.
