Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to join our friendly, forward-thinking Pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, supporting the development of others, and helping to shape efficient pharmacy services within a specialist Trust.
As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer, you will play a key leadership role within the ward supply and dispensary services. Working closely with the Technical Services Manager and Chief Pharmacist, you will be responsible for co-ordinating a team of Assistant Technical Officers (ATOs) and Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, ensuring that day-to-day operations run efficiently and to the highest standards.
This role requires someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality patient services. You will take a proactive approach to identifying training needs, developing staff, managing stock systems and improving processes. You will also help expand and develop the service, contributing to audits, project work and writing operational procedures.
