A renowned arts organization in Lewes seeks a Senior Payroll Officer to join its Payroll team. The role includes managing weekly and monthly payrolls using the Iris Cascade Payroll system, handling payroll projects, and addressing employee queries. Applicants should have significant payroll experience and familiarity with Iris Cascade. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and running our weekly and monthly payrolls using Iris Cascade Payroll system. You will also be responsible for managing payroll projects as directed, such as testing new software, and electronic timesheet management. Previous experience of working in a payroll environment and using Iris Cascade Payroll system is essential for this role.
Prepare and run weekly & monthly payrolls for both Glyndebourne Productions and Glyndebourne Enterprises using Iris Cascade integrated payroll / HR software. Tasks will include:
A high degree of confidentiality is essential, particularly in respect of contracts and payments.
The contractual hours of work are 35 hours per week 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm Monday - Friday with a one hour lunch break. However, applications for 28 hours / 4 days per week would be considered.
We can offer a salary of up to £36,700 per annum, pro rata.
We offer 33 days (6.6 weeks) holiday inclusive of bank holidays, per annum, pro rata. We also give additional non‑contractual closure dates at Christmas.
