Job summary

A leading children's hospital in London is looking for a full-time Paediatric Consultant to join their Gastroenterology team. The role involves sharing outpatient and inpatient services, conducting outpatient clinics, and leading a team in patient care management. Applicants must possess full GMC registration, appropriate qualifications, and extensive experience in Paediatric Gastroenterology. The salary ranges from £109,725 to £145,478 a year pro rata, with a permanent contract offered.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration (obtained by designated start date).
• Extensive experience in Paediatric Gastroenterology, with training in recognised Paediatric GI units.
• Independent upper and lower GI endoscopy skills.

Responsibilities

• Share outpatient and inpatient service with other post holders.
• Perform 2 fixed outpatient clinics per week.
• Hold senior leadership responsibility for patient care management.

Skills

Extensive experience in Paediatric Gastroenterology

Understanding of multi-system allergic disease

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Independent upper and lower GI endoscopy skills

Education

Full GMC registration

MRCP, MRCPCH or equivalent

MBBS or equivalent
