Overview

Senior Oncology Staff Nurse Brighton Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time | Includes weekend work
Up to £48,000 per annum depending on experience | 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)
• Be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices
• Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
• Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy
• Fully assess each patient's needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care
• Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT)
• Assist consultants during clinics
• Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
• Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)
