Overview

A sought after opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist Band 6 to work in a static role in Older Person’s care at Cambridge University Hospital. We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic team player to step into this highly valued position.

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy to patients, maintain a caseload across wards, input data daily to monitor the service. Support senior staff on delegated projects for service development and deputise for the Team Lead on occasions. Advise on best practice evidence-based therapy, maintain patient centred care, teach and supervise junior staff and students.

Qualifications

An experienced clinician with a commitment to patient centred care, interest and experience of working with older people, understanding frailty and skills in mental health. Leadership capabilities and aptitude to teach and supervise.
