About our Nursery: Busy Bees Harpenden Rothamsted Lodge is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity for 76 children. What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader
  • Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms
  • Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs
  • Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team
  • Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making adaptations to support children with additional needs
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of their child’s development
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre
Ideal Candidate
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education
  • Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership experience, ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members
