Overview

Valley Care are recruiting for 2x Senior Night Carers to join our team based at Harrison Park in Hull. Harrison Park is a supported living scheme where our Care Workers provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives.

We currently have the following openings available:

  • 2x part time night Senior Night Carers

Shift patterns – 18.00 - 00.00

Occasional annual leave cover required for night shifts as and when required (19.00 - 07.00)

Both positions will be working on a 2-week rolling rota (4/3 shift pattern)

  • Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Key Accountabilities
  • Writing person centred care plans
  • Carrying out new client assessments and risk assessments
  • Undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments and completing Best Interest Decision paperwork
  • Leading on client reviews and undertaking any resulting actions
  • Medication reviews and audits
  • Monitoring the quality of care delivered through spot checks in the field
  • Delivering care when required
Person Profile
  • Good knowledge and understanding of working with Local Authority Contracts and CQC legislation
  • Proficient IT user
  • Exceptional Time management and ability to prioritise and organise workload
  • Exemplary customer service
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • High attention to detail
  • Passion for high quality and care standards
  • Computer literacy to include Microsoft Word and our own roster system (training provided)
