Responsibilities
  • Designing, delivering, and supporting core ISP networks (MPLS, BGP, VPLS, VXLAN, EVPN)
  • Working with Juniper MX, Cisco ASR, Fortinet, Juniper SRX, and Check Point firewalls
  • Driving automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet
  • Supporting containerised environments with Docker
  • Collaborating with a tight-knit technical team of 12 engineers, spanning helpdesk to senior specialists
  • Acting as escalation for complex network issues while mentoring mid-level engineers
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in service provider or enterprise network engineering
  • Strong knowledge of BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, and large-scale routing protocols
  • Hands‑on expertise with Juniper MX, Cisco ASR, and enterprise-grade firewalls
  • Automation mindset – comfortable with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet
  • Knowledge of open-source networking tools and a willingness to innovate
  • Ideally CCNP/CCIE-level knowledge (formal certs not required, but rewarded with pay rises)
  • Ability to thrive in a lean, multi-disciplinary ISP environment where flexibility is key
