Job description
Overview

This is a wonderful opportunity for a radiographer with significant and varied experience to work in a cutting-edge clinical environment performing a range of MRI scanning. The candidate should have extensive CT experience and MRI experience is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake a wide variety of MRI scans including Neuro, MSK, Upper/Lower GI, Gynaecology, Prostate, Head/Neck MRI, Breast and Whole-Body MRI.
  • Provide a high-quality diagnostic MRI service while maintaining a safe working MRI environment.
  • Assist in providing an efficient MRI service which will include MRI scanning alongside its associated administration duties.
  • Participate in the MRI extended week rota and be motivated to develop MRI skills and abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with a patient-centred approach in a clinical range of patient presentations.
  • Work with under-graduates, trainee radiologists and trainee MRI radiographers, demonstrating teaching abilities and contributing to education.
  • Maintain flexible and pragmatic work practices with exceptional organisational skills to manage a varied workload and ensure safe and clinical practices.
