A leading health service provider in Oxford is seeking a registered clinician for the CAMHS SPA team to support young people and families. Responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments and collaborating with schools and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have qualifications in nursing, occupational therapy, or social work, with strong communication skills and experience in multi-agency settings. The Oxfordshire CAMHS SPA team provides consultation, advice and support for children, young people and professionals. We promote self-help where appropriate and ensure referrals are directed to the right CAMHS pathway. The role involves joint decision-making, close work with schools, GPs and social care, and a calm, coordinated team approach.
You’ll be registered in a relevant field such as nursing, occupational therapy or social work, with strong communication skills and an understanding of CAMHS. Experience in multi-agency working is key.
We welcome applications from Band 5 clinicians looking for a supported development route into a Band 6 role.
