Overview

As Senior Meeting & Events Planning Manager working alongside the Director of Meeting & Events Planning you will:

Based at Park Plaza Riverbank, a dynamic modern 650 bedroom hotel hosting events of up to 500 guests, you can bring your passion and personality to work and be part of this vibrant progressive team.

Responsibilities
  • Meticulously coordinate and plan the larger hotel events
  • Assist the Director of Planning in the day to day running of the department
  • Inject fresh new ideas to drive service standards and encourage repeat business
  • Take an active role in training and development of the M&E Planning team members
  • Engage with Senior Stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Pro-actively drive incremental spends on events
  • Communicate all event details to the hotel operational teams through the BEO in a timely and effective manner
  • To establish and nurture positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
  • Where required, "deputise" for the Director of Meeting and Events Planning in their absence at Hotel and client meetings
  • Demonstrate your passion for events and excellent hospitality
