Job summary

A global offshore engineering company is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversight in their operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with health & safety standards and oversee significant maintenance activities, supporting both onshore and offshore operations. This role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering and solid experience in heavy engineering environments, alongside strong leadership and communication skills. Qualifications

  • Solid industry experience in heavy engineering environments, marine or offshore preferred.
  • Certified Subject-Matter Expert in mechanical or hydraulic disciplines.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and hydraulic faults.
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of equipment in offshore conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of mechanical and hydraulic engineering activities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation.
  • Oversee maintenance activities to meet quality and budget requirements.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures for offshore best practices.
