The company develops robotics pick and place technology, they are determined to enhance the efficiency of a sector laden with manual processes. It's genuinely innovative and combines several robotic technologies with some exciting computer vision and AI.
The company needs a senior mechanical design engineer to join the team. It's a mix of being able to invent things yourself and come up with great new ideas, as well as take what they already have and ensure the design is bulletproof (not literally) and can be manufactured without hiccups.
Lead mechanical design from concept to manufacture for robotics pick and place technology. Ensure designs are robust and manufacturable. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics, computer vision and AI components where applicable.
The working arrangement requires a good chunk of on-site presence, 3 days per week in the office in Aberdeen. The company will support relocation and sponsorship where required.
Salary for the role is above market average and there are a range of quality benefits on top.
