Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar Design Engineering position.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Keen interest in the Motorsport and Automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Using SolidWorks CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings.
• Planning and overseeing the first build of new products.
• Liaising with manufacturing providers.

Skills

Experience in Design Engineering

Proficiency in SolidWorks

Understanding of FEA

Knowledge of powertrains and gearboxes

Excellent communication skills

Education

Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering
