We are seeking a Senior Major & Complex Loss (MCL) Adjuster to manage high-value commercial property claims from inception to resolution. In this role, you will take ownership of complex cases involving material damage and business interruption, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality service. You will collaborate with desk-based adjusting teams and specialists while maintaining strong client and customer relationships. The position demands a proactive and adaptable professional capable of independently managing a caseload while upholding compliance standards. Accountabilities
  • Manage complex commercial property claims, including material damage and business interruption, from start to finish.
  • Investigate and resolve claims efficiently, ensuring cost-effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal adjusting teams and other specialists to meet service level agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Adapt to surge periods while maintaining quality and timeliness of service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience handling Major & Complex Loss claims, preferably with high-value commercial property expertise.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACII or ACILA are highly desirable.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize effectively.Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work efficiently during peak periods.
