Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Tewkesbury, United Kingdom, seeks a Material Controller to manage the flow of raw materials for automotive production. This role involves ensuring timely delivery, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining quality while working under pressure. Candidates should have at least 3 years in material control, with experience in managing Steel and Aluminium, and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in material control or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Knowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery concepts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate stock records through regular inventory activity.
• Support ongoing supply into the Plants on an OTIF basis.
• Generate and monitor material forecasts.
