Job description

As Senior Marketing Manager for AI & Data, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering the UK marketing plan for AI & Data, with a clear commercial focus on driving growth opportunities within priority accounts. You will ensure visibility, impact, and speed to market, amplifying EY's reputation as the go-to firm for bold, distinctive insights in AI and Data. Sitting within the Marketing & Activation team, part of the wider Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) function, you will be at the centre of where strategy turns into action. You will interface daily with internal stakeholders & external agencies and be fundamental to delivering outcomes that support EY's growth ambitions and help us show up in a more distinctive way in the market. This is a high-impact role requiring a commercial thinker who can translate business strategy into creative, measurable marketing plans and campaigns. You will galvanise support across BMC, and the business, elevating AI & Data activity from BAU to Big Bet status.

EY is building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society and the planet, while building trust in capital markets. Enabled by data, AI and advanced technology, EY teams help clients shape the future with confidence and develop answers for the most pressing issues of today and tomorrow. EY teams work across a full spectrum of services in assurance, consulting, tax, strategy and transactions. Fueled by sector insights, a globally connected, multi-disciplinary network and diverse ecosystem partners, EY teams can provide services in more than 150 countries and territories.

We're seeking a challenger who thinks differently, delivers results, and builds a strong, distinctive EY story in the market. You should be adaptive, open to change, and a role model for others, fostering a supportive environment where your team can thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Planning: Set the UK marketing strategy for AI & Data, ensuring alignment with Global and super-region plans. Develop UK messaging tailored for the market and consistent with global positioning.
  • Campaign Leadership: Create and deliver the UK marketing and activation plan, collaborating across BMC (brand, comms, industry marketing, flagship events, strategic audience programmes) to maximise reach and impact.
  • Industry Collaboration: Take an industry-first approach, deepening support for relevant sectors through close partnership with industry marketing managers.
  • Bold Insights Creation: Champion the creation of sharper, more distinctive, and more provocative insights that resonate at C-suite level. Drive tighter proximity between Insights, Foresights, and Sales, ensuring our thought leadership translates into commercial impact and client engagement.
  • Commercial Focus: Work with business development to enable delivery of AI and Data solution campaigns, providing actionable insights for priority buyers and accounts, to open new commercial opportunities.
  • Thought Leadership: Amplify thought leadership from Global & other regions identifying opportunities for joint client convening and engagement.
  • Innovation: Bring creativity and innovative thinking, identifying opportunities to do things differently and impactfully, including co‑innovation with alliance partners, where appropriate.
  • Project Management: Ensure timely and successful delivery of all aspects of the plan, including budget management and risk adherence.
  • Measurement: Monitor and track results from initiatives to shift brand perception, increase C-suite engagement, and grow marketing‑influenced revenue and pipeline, with clear attribution to campaigns & client activation.
Qualifications
  • Deep Understanding of AI & Technology: Demonstrates a strong grasp of the AI, data, and technology landscape, including emerging trends, market dynamics, and the competitive environment.
  • Innovative Mindset: A true innovator who consistently challenges the norm, brings fresh thinking, and is comfortable disrupting conventional approaches to marketing and client engagement.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Strong communication and relationship management skills, able to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and peers.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to translate strategy into creative and commercial plans.
  • Project Management Expertise: Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace, ensuring timely and successful execution of complex marketing plans.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Ability to interpret data and act on insights to drive campaign effectiveness.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Excellent people leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
