Description
About CTI

Join 150+ strategists and specialists who refuse to settle, creating bold digital experiences for ambitious brands since 2003. We're a full-service digital agency delivering strategic consultancy, web development, and digital marketing to drive demand online. Using over two decades of industry experience, we provide next-gen solutions as part of lasting partnerships with hundreds of clients from Chester Zoo and Zip World to Balfour Beatty and Mind.

What makes us different
  • We break new ground. You’ll work on innovative projects using the latest technologies before they hit the mainstream. We celebrate calculated risks and learn fast from every experiment.
  • We get stuck in together. Genuine collaboration across all departments. Your ideas matter here, regardless of your role or how long you’ve been with us.
  • We stay curious. Continuous learning is essential. You’ll have dedicated time and budget for development, working alongside industry experts who are genuinely invested in your success.
  • We own it. Full accountability and autonomy over your work means you build client relationships, see real-world impact, and be recognised when you go the extra mile.

Sitting right at the intersection of creativity and commerce, our Marketing team is the heartbeat of the agency’s growth engine. We’re a blend of creative thinkers and data analysts who believe in testing, learning, and celebrating the wins. Working closely with Sales, Client Services, and Tech, we ensure the CTI story is heard loud and clear. This role provides critical continuity and leadership while our Head of Marketing is on parental leave, acting as the glue that keeps our campaigns bold and our strategy on track.

What you’ll be doing

As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will step up as the interim lead for the team, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. You’ll own the decision-making, drive our FY27 campaigns, and ensure the team remains motivated and high-performing.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Provide day-to-day leadership for the marketing team, including line management of Marketing Managers. You’ll support their development, manage performance, and act as the main point of escalation for delivery decisions.
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Oversee the execution of planned FY27 campaigns across priority channels. You’ll manage delivery timelines, resource allocation, and ensure every piece of work aligns with our commercial goals.
  • Reporting & Commercial Alignment: Work closely with the Demand Gen Manager to analyse performance. You’ll present insights in commercial meetings and use data to inform optimisation and future planning.
  • Strategic Projects: Take ownership of key strategic initiatives, such as launching new propositions, audience expansion, or channel innovation. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to maintain momentum.
  • Partner Marketing: Lead our partner marketing activity, identifying opportunities for joint campaigns and managing relationships to drive mutual growth.
  • Events: Coordinate owned events from concept to delivery and manage our participation in industry conferences and sponsorships.
  • Brand & Profile: Act as a guardian for the brand, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. You’ll also support PR activities and work with the Content Marketing Manager on thought leadership that builds our profile.
What experience you need to be successful

We’re looking for a seasoned marketer who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. You should be a natural leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and isn’t afraid to make decisions.

Your experience
  • Proven experience line-managing a team and driving performance, ideally within an agency or B2B environment.
  • Confidence in planning and executing multi‑channel campaigns that drive tangible commercial results.
  • A commercial mindset with a clear understanding of service delivery KPIs and the ability to report on ROI to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing partner relationships and coordinating events (both hosted and industry) is key.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and build trusted relationships across the business.
  • Adaptability to pivot quickly when priorities shift.
What sets you apart
  • You’re a strong communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced agency environment.
  • You love a plan but can pivot when priorities shift.
  • You care deeply about outcomes, not just ticking tasks off a list.
  • You bring a positive, team‑oriented energy that raises the bar for everyone around you.

We’re challenging the ‘Gender Confidence Gap,’ which suggests that individuals will only apply for a job if they meet 100% of the criteria. Some of our best hires didn’t check every box in the role description, so if you were about to rule yourself out, we still encourage you to apply!
