Risk Transformation Lead International

Work Environment: Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

Lead a dedicated team driving global risk transformation. Shape the future of risk management and culture across international offices. Flexible hybrid working to support your professional and personal priorities.

The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role where you'll:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of risk, compliance, and project professionals, delivering Project MORE outcomes across international offices (London, New York, Australia)
  • Oversee the development and synchronisation of detailed plans, deliverables, and governance interventions with the Fund-wide program schedule.
  • Foster a "think tank" environment, proactively identifying and solving implementation challenges.
  • Provide thought leadership and feedback to the Fund-wide program and other domains, recommending viable alternatives to governing committees.
  • Collaborate with Group Risk partners, Domain transformation leads, and Line 1 business stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Support change management and communications, enabling global stakeholders to bring Project MORE initiatives to life.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable as the program evolves, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

  • Leadership Excellence: Proven experience leading diverse, multi-geographical teams, inspiring and growing talent.
  • Risk & Compliance Expertise: Extensive experience in financial services (asset manager, bank, or custodian), with a strong background in investment operations, compliance, and/or risk management.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to see the big picture, align risk initiatives with business goals, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading change management and rapid growth environments.
  • Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of operational risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional Communication: Confidence engaging at C-suite and Board level, presenting to management committees, regulators, and board committees.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Risk, or Accounting disciplines (postgraduate studies or industry-based accreditation desirable).
  • Growth Mindset: Motivated by complex problems, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
