Job Description

This role focuses on working closely with market teams to improve how we invest in building and upgrading restaurants. You’ll help ensure new openings and reinvestment projects meet agreed brand standards and support overall growth plans.

This role plays a key part in helping the team achieve its long-term goals. You’ll work closely with local and business unit teams, collaborate with colleagues across the Global Restaurant Development & Design team, and engage with the wider Restaurant Experience team and company organization to share ideas and drive progress.

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Development, Investment Optimization & Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead/pursue initiatives in collaboration with markets to drive value & optimization of capital investment in restaurant development/construction solutions
  • Partner with relevant markets, segment, 3rd party and other relevant functions to support prototyping & application of optimized investment restaurants solutions
  • Provision and maintenance of globally applicable tools (eg building right sizing calculator) to inform strategy & activities
  • Pursuit/lead of standardization and scaling solutions of greatest benefit and in accordance to market conditions
  • Partner with Global Strategic Sourcing Services and Segment to unlock sourcing opportunities of standardized solutions
  • Providing guidance/consultancy, benchmark, best practices and training of market resources and functions
  • When relevant provide input/insights/support as relevant to key stakeholders from across the organization, working on multi-disciplinary projects

Qualifications

You will have demonstrated success in leading or contributing to development, construction, or real estate initiatives within a multi-site, international organization.

Experience should include managing or supporting projects across diverse markets, navigating regional regulations, and delivering solutions that balance cost efficiency, scalability, and brand consistency.

You will also have:

  • Proven experience in development cost analysis to identify profitability of different development / construction or process solutions to drive value & optimization of capital investment.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including sourcing, procurement, and design teams.
  • Track record of influencing investment decisions through data-driven insights or standardized tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a restaurant development discipline, construction, architecture, engineering, quantity surveyor or related field is highly desirable.
