About the role :

Big 4 consultancy are looking to hire a Senior Manager for their Financial Services Risk practice. The Banking Non-Financial Risk & Regulatory Transformation team works with our banking and capital markets clients on their most pressing risk and regulatory programmes.

This is an exciting time to join the growing team of over 120 individuals covering retail, wholesale and capital markets, working across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Sustainability functions.

You will bring previous consultancy experience and be passionate about client service and the fast-paced changing nature of the banking sector. We are particularly interested in individuals who embrace tech-enabled ways of working and are excited about the potential of AI and other transformative technologies.

What your days will look like :

• You will undertake various client lead projects which may include; designing and implementing 1st and 2nd line Non Financial Risk functions, or trading supervision and controls reviews and remediation, etc
• You will take a leading role across a range of sustainability and related projects to build a broad range of expertise and be passionate about delivering value and insights to your clients.
• You’ll invest time in building your client relationship network and thrive on taking on new challenges in unfamiliar situations.
• You will coach and guide more junior members of the team.

This role is for you if :

• You hold experience working within wholesale banking financial services risk and control projects either from a banking or regulatory background, to include at least 2-years consulting at some point in your career to date (doesn't need to be current).
• You hold experience working with senior stakeholders, developing effective working relationships and providing insightful management information.
• You hold previous experience leading significant components of business change and conduct risk transformation projects, which may include managing several concurrent client programmes, reporting on progress to Directors and above.
• You are able to develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges, helping firms to rethink their approach to risk and control, and working with our clients to create robust and sustainable change, including through the incorporation of technology enablement and AI.
• You are comfortable taking a leading role in pursuing commercial opportunities with new and existing clients

Hybrid working - 2 / 3 days in office or on client site
