Are you an experienced electrically biased, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, automated environment where innovation, teamwork, and technical experience drive success?

We’re looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our Operations Maintenance Team at our Head Office in Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role maintaining and improving our cutting-edge automated systems – from conveyors and cranes to robots and shuttle systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, sharing your expertise and supporting apprentices and junior engineers
  • Keep our automated equipment in safe, reliable, and peak working condition
  • Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns, identifying root causes to prevent future issues
  • Work closely with operations teams to minimise downtime and keep things running smoothly
  • Liaise with contractors, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard and offers real value
  • Support projects, process improvements, and deputise for the Engineering and Process Improvement Manage when required.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Leadership and supervisory experience
  • Qualified in electrical/mechanical engineering (apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Experience with automated picking cranes, conveyors, and working at height
  • Solid technical knowledge of S7 PLCs, inverter-driven systems, barcode scanning networks, Profinet, Profibus, and ASI networks
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and reporting on maintenance activity.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Core hours of work are 11:30am 8:00pm, Monday to Friday, however, flexibility will be required for this role. This role will be carried out on site.
