Senior Legal PA – Real Estate

Our international law firm client is seeking a self‑motivated and organised Senior Legal PA to join their Cambridge office on a full‑time, permanent basis. This role would suit someone who is adept in supporting busy lawyers in a fast‑paced, law firm environment and who can demonstrate technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Legal PA – Real Estate:
  • Acting as a first point of contact on behalf of the fee‑earners
  • Organising business breakfasts, dinners, or smaller events
  • Full management of travel and expenses for assigned fee‑earners
  • Prepare, amend, and proofread documents
  • Proactive and advanced calendar management for assigned fee‑earners (scheduling calls / meetings)
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the firm's billing systems
  • Supporting fee‑earners with monitoring and addressing unpaid bills
  • Coordinate the WIP lists and billing on behalf of Partners
Skills & Requirements of the Senior Legal PA – Real Estate:
  • Previous Legal PA / Legal Secretary experience supporting a team of lawyers in a law firm environment
  • Demonstrates an understanding of industry standards for compliance and matter management
  • Excellent IT skills across a broad range of MS Office and other business management applications
  • A willingness to learn new software and adapt to change
  • Previous experience using bespoke in-house systems (e.g. client contact databases, matter management systems, billing systems etc.
