This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Legal Operations Senior Associate, joining our Legal Team. You’ll help propel our team mission of supercharging our business through the provision of excellent legal advice and solid legal processes and reporting to the Legal Ops Manager.
As a senior member of the Legal Ops function, you’ll play a critical role in building and scaling the infrastructure, workflows, and technology that enable the Legal team to operate efficiently and deliver high‑impact service across the business. You’ll own key initiatives, collaborate cross‑functionally, and serve as a go‑to expert on how Legal work gets done. Your work will directly support Remote’s rapid international growth and our Legal team’s mission to deliver excellent legal advice through scalable, automated, and user‑friendly processes.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and legal enablement, and is ideal for someone with a legal background who thrives in systems thinking, project management, and process design.

Remote’s Legal Team is responsible for delivering pragmatic and innovative legal solutions for Remote’s products and services, while protecting Remote from unacceptable risk. As Remote adds new products to the platform and rapidly scales its new and existing customer base, so too does the volume and complexity of legal issues. Each new venture, customer, or external employee could bring a myriad of legal issues across 90+ jurisdictions.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide. Our base salary range for this full‑time position is $35,200 to $99,000. The salary range may be subject to change based on location, transferable or job‑related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands.
